Cook your steak over high heat for about 10 minutes and medium heat for four to five minutes.

Turn all burners into the medium position before you turn the thicker steaks. Grill 1 1/4 inch steak for some extra minutes of about 4 to 6 using indirect heat. Indirect heat will definitely require the user to to turn off thye burners which are directly below the steak. The 1 1/2 inch steak can be cooked with an additional minutes of 6 to 8 using indirect heat. The two inch steak should go up to additional minutes of 10 to 14 minutes over indirect heat for perfect result.
You can check your steak if it has reached your desired degree of doneness using palm method. Remove your meat from the grill and then turn the burners off. Also turn the gas cylinder valve clockwise in order to close it until the next use.
